A four days workshop on CAD of Electrical Apparatus was conducted by the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of PET Engineering College, Vallioor in association with The Institution Of Engineers(India) from 6-03-2018 to 9-3-2018, at Power System Simulation Lab, PET Engineering College, Vallioor.
Dr. P. Siva Chandran, Professor/Veltech Multitech , Avadi, trained the students about the basic concept of CAD of Electrical Apparatus. He also explained the magnet software by designing some models. The Principal Dr. N. Mohamed Sheriff presided over the function. In his presidential address; he said that the students should consider the workshop as golden opportunity. He insisted that the students should learn some basic tools in Auto CAD.
Various topic on Computer Aided Design in Electrical Engineering Involves Drafting, Lay outing, Circuiting, Chip Designing, Analysis, Design of Electrical Equipments, Chip Architecture Programming and Electrical and Electronics Control Panel Designing were covered by the resource person.
The workshop is very useful to the students, regarding the designing of Electrical Apparatus, altogether 25 students of EEE department participated in this workshop. Certificates were distributed to all the participated students. The program was coordinated by Mr. P. Eugine Paul and ended with the vote of thanks.
