The department of Computer science and Engineering organized a workshop on CAREER GUIDANCE in association with Institution's Innovation Council Cell. The workshop was presented by Resource person Dr. V. Manimaran ASP/ IT & Placement Convener – National Engineering College, Kovilpatti. Ms. G. Annie Florance II/CSE welcomed the gathering and Ms. M. Sahaya Jovita II/CSE introduced the Resource person Dr. V. Manimaran to the audience. The program began with an insightful overview on career planning by the principal Dr. K. Madhan Kumar and then the session was handed over to the resource person. He gave an elaborative introduction about the various opportunities and scope in the field of Engineering.
Principal suggested varied ways and ideas on how to opt for career abroad. He further highlighted that Career guidance plays a very important role in the lives of all aspiring students, as it helps in setting future goals and choose lucrative careers. Career guidance is much needed for those who had not planned for their future at an early stage, more should be done to assist the younger generations in personal career development.
At the end of the session the students engaged in interactive sessions seeking the advice on interview preparatory and job searching techniques. The program ended with a profound vote of thanks by Dr. S. Babu Renga Rajan HOD/CSE.
All the students were highly motivated and enlightened about various opportunities after completing their Course. The session covered effective strategies for career planning, emphasizing the significance of skill development and internships. It was a very informative day for the students and faculty members who attended the session. 63 Students actively participated from II Year CSE Students. Mrs. B. Shanmuga Sundari ASP/CSE and Mrs. D. Mary Nisha, AP/CSE carried out all the necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the program.
